Day 7. I'll Rhyme When I Can.

these are divine. and legit. 


Upward and onward.  Today was slightly better. Noticeably better. I went for a brief walk on my first break, instead of staying in my seat and eating something. For lunch I had leftover vegetarian chili (without cheese grated on top, thank you very much) ...although I did have some whole grain crackers with light cream cheese on the side. Remember!: every good little decision is worth celebrating. For my afternoon snack I had some plain, low fat greek yogurt with unsalted almonds & sunflower seeds, drizzled with honey, and a PC Blue Menu Sparkling Awesomeness. Pan-fried broccoli and corn with a side of soup was dinner.

I'm really going to have to incorporate more physical activity into my days. I am not accustomed to a job where I sit still all day. I have a history of menial paying jobs such as serving, hostessing, Starbucks..ing. They were all various levels of degrading. I'd go home exhausted, hating the general public and/or smelling of various food products. BUT, they all kept me be-boppin' and moving around for a good 8 hours. Now I work at an "office", (in quotations because I can barely believe it myself) and my only exercise is perpetual chair swiveling. But oh GOD it's cold outside. I move from work to my awaiting pile of afghans as fast as possible. I hate going outside, and will continue to hate it until April. Also, I'm one of those who has a gym membership yet moving my limbs towards and into the gym seems to be the hardest part. Combine those two and it's one steep hurdle.

I'll get to it. Don't you worry.
